Free T-Shirts, bobble heads, and hot dogs no longer “cut it” as free promotional items at baseball games these days. Instead of giving the first 1000 fans a free team kite, water bottle, or rally towel-the Grand Prairie AirHogs Professional Baseball team will be offering one lucky (or unlucky!) fan a FREE FUNERAL package as part of a promotion on Tuesday, June 3. All expenses will be covered by the Chapel of Roses Funeral Home and Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, both located in Irving, TX.
Everything is apparently included. You can even pick the color of the casket and you are entitled to all of the funeral home facilities, and transportation services.
According to CNBC.com, some of the in-game festivities tonight will include pallbearer races, mummy wrapping and eulogy deliveries.
What a way to celebrate a hot summer night of baseball with the family.
Guess what kids, now Daddy will not have to pay for Mommy’s funeral when she takes that old dirt nap we talked about!
